Final exhibition of the Schiesslhaus AiR 2023

The highlight of the SCHIESSLHAUS AiR Program 2023 is the final exhibition titled “COMMON SPACE: COUNTRYSIDE – CITY” at the Altes Spital in Viechtach. From July 21 to 30, this curated group show will present selected artistic works by the four guest artists in juxtaposition. The exhibition opening will take place on July 20, with the presence of the artists, curators, and project partners. During the opening evening, there will be a performance by Mariia Mytrofanvova in the chapel of the Altes Spital. Afterwards, Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu will perform live with violoncello, electronics, field recordings, and sound objects. Throughout its duration, the exhibition will be accompanied by a mediation and cultural program. The artists will be present on certain days (see below) and can be interviewed about their works. In addition, there will be guided tours, a children’s art workshop involving all participating artists, and a musical evening featuring DJ Booty Carrell.
