Bandcamp: Sweet Little Drowsy Being Lost Its Slumber is the debut album by the Berlin-based duo Melih Sarıgöl, modular synthesisers and Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu, cello and voice. As a duo, they explore tools to create a sound world that excites and surprises them while offering a sense of grounding. This approach leads them to a constant movement across genres, including noise, free improvisation, contemporary classical music, and Turkish makam–based melodic fragments. In this process, Melih extends his instrument through live processing modules, while Ayşe integrates Turkish makam flavours and effects.
